Google G Suite - Set calendar permissions to receive invitations or modify existing meetings

Is it possible to explicitly set in the calendar permission that the person with permission (i.e. me in this case) also receives the calendar emails - i.e. new invitation or changes to existing meetings?

If the calendar is under “My Calendars” (i.e. you have access to the appointments), you can activate notifications in the calendar specific settings -> then select e-mail under “Notifications”.
