Is it possible to explicitly set in the calendar permission that the person with permission (i.e. me in this case) also receives the calendar emails - i.e. new invitation or changes to existing meetings?
If the calendar is under “My Calendars” (i.e. you have access to the appointments), you can activate notifications in the calendar specific settings → then select e-mail under “Notifications”.
