Send shape to back and front doesn't work in draw.io for Confluence

I am facing issues with shapes in draw.io. I like to have one of the shapes in the background, but it just doesn’t work. The shape is still on top of all other shapes that should be in the front. What am I doing wrong?

Hi there. If your shapes are not sent back, I’m guessing that you’re working with multiple layers. You can send a shape to be in the background of one layer. Of course, if the other shapes are on a different layer, you can’t have a single shape behind another layer. In this case, you would have to change the order of layers. Please have a look at our Youtube video on arranging different layers or view the entire Youtube playlist on layers in draw.io.
