What is the difference between embedding youtube video in the widget connector and embedding it in the HTML macro?

The widget connector is easier to use, especially for persons who don’t know html.
By embedding a YouTube video via html you have more options to configure it.

Thank you so much for your reply… Yes it answers a part of my question, however what if I want to keep my Confluence Server from connecting to the internet (no internet connection for Confluence server) and I only allow the client machine (the user that is accessing Confluence) to connect to the internet. Would both options still work for me?
